Glass Blowing Studio Bermuda

Update: The Glass Blowing Studio at Hamilton Parish has closed down. If you want to see flame artists in action and/or like to buy handcrafted glass items, then visit Dockyard Glassworks.

Located in Hamilton Parish of Bermuda, the Glass Blowing Studio is a wonderful example of how this glass art which is over 2000 years old, has been so well adopted in the island.

There are several artists who produce exquisite pieces of glass art including plates, vases, figures and glass ornaments from hot molten glass. They also demonstrate so that you have a chance to see how the glass articles are created right in front of you.

And when they mix it with vibrant colors, the articles look too goo to resist temptation. All these are pure Bermudian articles. There are many varieties of glass items that you can buy. Prices vary from very affordable ($10) to very expensive (over $1000). Many pieces can serve as great souvenirs to take back home.

The studio is open daily, the opening hours vary depending on the month and day of the week. From January through August, it's open between 9am to 5pm on Monday to Saturday. On Sunday, it's open from 10am to 5pm. In the other months the opening hours are shorter (10am to 4pm). Admission is free.
