Bermuda boat charter is not exactly cheap. But if you want exclusive experience of spectacular scenic views, Atlantic marine life, coral reefs, shipwrecks, and also combine it with activities like snorkeling or kayaking, Bermuda boat chartering is the way to go.

During our many vacations in Bermuda, we had gone around to find out the best Bermuda charter boat operators, offering best options in sailing boats and catamarans.

We figured out that in Bermuda there are more than 20 large power cruisers and sailing boats piloted by experienced local captains and are available for charter.

Primarily 30 to 60-foot long, most Bermuda charter boats can carry up to 30 persons, and sometimes can sail overnight. Of course there are few Bermuda charter boats that have much larger capacity of about 200 or even more. These are usually chartered for corporate excursion or wedding parties, and are quite expensive.

In Bermuda boat charter or charter cruises, where you go and what you do - exploring, swimming, snorkeling, cruising - is usually up to you and the captain of the boat. Generally, Bermuda charter boats travel to and around the small islands of the Great Sound.

Several captains of Bermuda charter boats advertise year-round operations, but the off-season schedules can be quite irregular. Captains usually use this off-season period for maintenance and repairs. Sometimes they close the operation altogether if bookings are low.
