Sea Horse Anglers Club Bermuda
Billfish Tournament

 
 
This is an open event and the oldest fishing competition in Bermuda. The event also serves as the last leg of Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish Series. Teams participating in the tournament have a fun kickoff party and awards presentation at Yacht Club. 
 
This is a boat championship and the teams during this leg try hard to increase their points in hopes of winning the Sea Horse and the overall Bermuda Triple Crown Championship. 
 
 
 
Entry fee: $3,000 per team and includes  
1) Entry for up to six anglers  
2) Six passes to the kickoff party, weigh-station bar and the awards banquet. 
3) Additional non-angler party passes are also available. Teams entered in this event are automatically entered into the Triple Crown Championship. There is no additional entry fee. 
 
Since this is the third and the last leg of Bermuda Triple Crown Billfish championship, the overall Triple Crown team winners are also awarded during the award ceremony of this event. 
 

Scoring System

 
This event has same scoring system as each qualifying event or a leg of the Triple Crown Championship. Check Bermuda Triple Crown Championship for the detail scoring system.

Club Background

 
The Sea Horse Anglers Club of Bermuda is a member of the International Game Fish Association and The Billfish Foundation, and has a base membership of over 70 members. The Club usually meets on the first Tuesday of the month at the Mariner’s Club, 22 Richmond Road, Hamilton. 
 

How the event is typically held day wise

 
Held in July after Big Game Classic. 
Host: Hotel Hamilton Princess, Pitts Bay Road, Pembroke 
 
Day1: Final registration, captain's meeting and kickoff party at the Docksider Pub - 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. 
 
Day2: Fishing day: 8am start, 4pm lines out.  
Gosling's Black Seal weigh-in party 4pm – 7pm Barrs Bay Park, Hamilton City 
 
Day3: Same as Day2. 
 
Day4: Same as Day2 
 
Day5: Awards Banquet 6pm - 9pm, Location at Royal Bermuda Yacht Club.
