Bermuda Weather in April

April is when the weather in Bermuda just about starts warming up, although it still remains quite cool compared to the summer months.

The air temperature varies between a high of 71 degree Fahrenheit on an average to a low of 63 degree. Days start becoming brighter.

You will need to wear a light jacket early mornings and in the evenings.

The day time temperature is quite pleasantly cool.

The water or the sea temperature averages 68 degree during April. The water visibility remains excellent during this time and ranges from 150 to 200 feet (which is about 45 to 55 meters). The time is ideal for water sports like scuba diving and snorkeling, although you may need to wear wet suits if you are not comfortable with the water temperature.

There are some public events that are held in April like the Peppercorn Ceremony and Bermuda Annual Exhibition. One of the great Easter events in Bermuda is the Kite Festival which is usually held on the last Friday of the month. It is also known as the Kite day when Bermudians and visitors fly kites in the beaches.
