Coconut Rock and Yashi Bermuda
$$, International and Sushi
Located in Hamilton City, Coconut Rock and Yashi are two adjoining restaurants, one serving international cuisine and the other Sushi. Both are owned by Germany born Christian Herzog. Yashi is the only independent Sushi bar in Bermuda.
If you are new to the island, it is not easy to find the two underground restaurants, but they are quite popular night time venues with the locals. While Yashi has a quiet atmosphere with paper lanterns and black tables, Coconut Rock on the other hand is very lively place with loud music videos playing on multiple screens.

Here are some of the great dishes in Coconut Rock and are our favorites:
As starters, we normally like to go for Shrimp Tempura (Tiger shrimps served with Tempura sauce) or Prawn Thermidor (grilled prawns topped with mushrooms and served with white wine cream sauce).
The fish platter (with fresh catch of the day) is one of the best main courses here. They make it grilled or pan fried and serve with lemon butter sauce. Other great dishes includes grilled tiger shrimps served with herbs and garlic butter sauce, the grilled rib eye steaks, lemon pepper chicken, and chicken chimichanga.
Coconut Rock also makes pasta dishes including lasagna, baked fettuccine pasta and others.
Yashi, an independent sushi bar next door, offers one of the widest range of sushi food. Some of the creative dishes here are Sashimi, Makimonos, Shrimp Dumplings and Tripple-Delight Maki.
Dress code is smart casual. They accept credit cards.
