Club Aqua, Bermuda

Update: Club Aqua has closed down
This is one of the most popular nightclubs in Bermuda which is targeted mainly for the cruise ship passengers. The club is located at Royal Naval Dockyard and part of the Snorkel Park & Beach complex. The name Aqua (meaning water) because this is an open air club located right on the beach and by the waterside. Snorkel Park beach is located within minutes distance from the cruise berths. You can walk down in less than 10 minutes.
The club has also introduced its own transport (called fun bus) which can pick up and drop guests (for a charge) from and to various locations including Hamilton. The first pick up is at 9:30pm and the last bus from the club is at 3am. It's like a shuttle and makes several runs during this period.
Since this is an open air club and on the sand, it is weather dependant. So on a rainy or stormy nights, it may not operate. Minimum age requirement is 18. Photo ID is required for age verification. There is a $10 cover or entry charge. Food is available till late at night.
The club operates on some days of the week (presently Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday but subject to change). The club open days are aligned with cruise arrival schedule, i.e., when cruise ships are docked at Royal Naval Dockyard. Some contracted cruise lines like NCL dock regularly at the dockyard during summer. The crowd starts building up from 10pm. And when the crews from the cruise ships join late at night, the party really heats up. You can dance away to the music till wee hours and under the starry sky.
There are live bands, DJs, and video DJs playing rocks and sometimes island hip hops. Other than cocktails, spirits, beer etc, island special drinks are also available. Barbecue is also organized on the beach. So the key offerings of the nightclub are its on-beach late night parties and dance, great views of water, live music and late night kitchen.

Time: 10pm till 03:00 AM
Note that the club operates during the summer (usually mid April through end October) and on few days of the week when the cruise ships are on port. When the cruise season ends in November, the club also closes down.
