Chatterbox Cafe Bermuda
$, Deli/Light Bites
If you are shopping at Washington Mall in Hamilton City, this is a great place to take your lunch or even breakfast. Chatterbox Cafe was formerly known as Paradiso Cafe. It has changed hands, but remains quite popular with the office goers in Hamilton City. You will see the cafe usually full with the locals during the lunch time. It's a great place to experience a Bermudian ambience if that's what you are looking for.
The cafe has huge glass windows through which you can do people watching and enjoy the vibrant city if you of course take a window-side table. The wooden tables and chairs, the large glass showcases lined up on a side with various quick bites on display to choose from makes it look like a nice friendly cafe.

The coffee here is excellent. For breakfast you get sandwiches and eggs, and even the Burrito which comes in large portions (can be enough for two). You can also try out the French Toast in breakfast. The curry chicken sandwich is also excellent.
The cafe serves a daily specialty platter which is a meal by itself and features lasagna and salad, fried rice with minced beef or pork, or the chicken breast with greens. The selection changes though almost everyday depending on availability of ingredients on the day.
But the signature dish or the house special is the salad. It has mixed greens tossed with shrimp, mesclun, artichoke hearts and bean sprouts dressed in tomato vinaigrette. For desserts, try out one of the French pastries which are really nice, so are the tiramisu and chocolate mousse cakes.
