Fourways Inn Cottage Colony Bermuda

Nearly three centuries old, Fourways Inn and Cottage Colony in Bermuda has been operated as a private home, a restaurant and as a guesthouse under various owners. Fourways, located in the central parish of Paget, was built in 1727 with native coral stone and cedar. 

 

It was named Fourways because it spreads in all four directions across two and a half acres of walled gardens at Amen Corner, an important crossroad in Bermuda. For more than two centuries this lovely Georgian home was a private residence. Extensive renovations and additions were made, but the uniquely Bermudian character of the house was carefully preserved. In 1986, the Cottage Colony was opened, complete with heated swimming pool and other luxury facilities.

There are 11 suites and deluxe cottages set in a tranquil and verdant garden, nestled around the fresh water pool. All Rooms Include King-size bed, telephone, cable, Flat screen TV, air-conditioning and fan cooling, high speed internet, double sink bathroom, hairdryer, bathrobes and safety deposit boxes. Suites have queen size sofas in the living room and private terrace.

You can have your breakfast in the shade of a private patio or balcony. As part of the Little Venice Group, there is a dine-around plan available with nine other restaurants in the island, with varying cuisine from Mediterranean, French, Oriental and Italian.

The central Paget location makes the cottage colony ideally located for golf, shopping in Hamilton, the beaches and the nearby ferry. Although Fourways is not on a beachside location, there is easy access to some of the great beaches in Bermuda. Complimentary Beach Passes are included.

Rates Include Continental Breakfast, fresh fruit and the morning newspaper. Service Charge Includes all maid, porter and Continental Breakfast service. There is also a special offer, if you book for 6 nights, you pay for only 5. A dinner plan is available at $53.75 per person plus 17% gratuities. Guests enjoy preferential rates at the Fourways Inn Restaurant located on the other side of the garden.

Bus stop is a short walk from the hotel. The bus route connects Dockyard at the west end with Hamilton. Hamilton City is only about 10 minutes by bus.
