Rain in Bermuda is a reality, but it rarely behaves the way a smartphone app suggests. The island does not have a monsoon season, and entirely washed-out days are quite rare.

Winter rain, from December through March, is a different story. Winter weather is driven by cold fronts pushing off the United States east coast. When these fronts hit Bermuda, they bring longer periods of gray, windy, and chilly drizzle.

Crystal Caves. If it poured the night before, always call the ticket office before taking a taxi there, as they sometimes have to close the lower walkways until the water recedes.
