Evolutions Health & Fitness Center Bermuda

This is a new fitness center that has opened in early June 2011 and is located at St. George. This has been set up by three ladies who were all members of fitness centers in Hamilton City but lived at the eastern end of the island.

Although there is one other gym (Graham's) and a small facility at the St. George's Club, they all felt the need to create a comprehensive fitness center at the eastern end offering not only gym facilities but also classes to members of all ages.

One of the three women is Candy-Lee Foggo who has been the President of the Bermuda Bodybuilding Federation. The other two are sisters Quinell and Quinita Francis. It took them about 2 years to establish such a modern state of the art facility.

The center comprises of two large fitness rooms of 1,000 sq. ft. area each. There are additional changing and shower rooms. The facility is air-conditioned and has Cybex International cardio equipment, bikes, treadmills, arc trainers, strength machines and free weights.

There are ample parking space available. Evolutions will be soon offering Zumba, body sculpture and steps, reggae and soca aerobics. They plan to introduce spinning and yoga classes as well.

There are personalized classes also offered. Other than the fitness regime, the members get lessons about the nutrition requirements of the body to stay fit, and also get to know how to train the body and avoid injuries.

The center aims to make the healthy lifestyle training and facilities available at an affordable price. Seniors get memberships at half the rates.
