I purchased a bottle of Bermuda Blue Eau De Toilette natural spray several years ago. I loved it. A friend was in Bermuda several months ago & picked up two more bottles for me. It’s nothing like the first bottle I had. So very disappointed. I DO NOT recommend purchasing this new version.

Thank you for responding to my message. I just checked again and it is definitely BERMUDA BLUE. Bottom has a sticker that reads: EDT NATURAL spray. Made in the USA for P.D.L. Limited. Is this correct that it is strictly now manufactured in the USA? Thank you for your time.

Yes, that information is correct. While Perfumeries Distributors Limited (PDL) is a local company based in Bermuda, the actual physical manufacturing and bottling of the fragrance is outsourced to the USA. This is a very common practice, as Bermuda has limited industrial facilities for mass producing and handling flammable liquids like perfumes.
Since you confirmed it is definitely the original Bermuda Blue and not one of the sister fragrances, this strongly points to the reformulation theory I mentioned earlier. When production shifts or when cosmetic ingredient regulations change over the years, the newer batches often have a noticeably different scent profile compared to the vintage versions.

I checked Gibbon's website and found that Bermuda Blue Eau De Toilette is available for sale online but can only be shipped within the island. It displays the following message at the bottom:
"*PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO A CHANGE IN LOCAL REGULATIONS WE ARE NOT ABLE TO SHIP THIS PRODUCT OUTSIDE OF BERMUDA AT THIS TIME. WE APOLOGIZE FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE*"
So, it seems you can not get it shipped to the USA or anywhere outside Bermuda at the moment.
