Updated: August 2026
I have spent countless hours inspecting the spa scene across Bermuda to bring you this update. The island has recently seen massive upgrades in the luxury wellness space. Whether you want a deep tissue massage overlooking the Atlantic or a quick pedicure in the City of Hamilton, you need to know exactly what to expect before you book.

Who this is for and Who should skip it
If you are planning a couples trip, a honeymoon, or a girls getaway, booking a spa day here is practically mandatory. It is also perfect for cruise visitors docked at King's Wharf who want to escape the crowded port for a few hours of luxury.
Who should skip it? Strict budget travelers. Bermuda is an expensive destination, and wellness treatments here reflect those high operating costs. If you are watching every dollar, a luxury resort spa will blow your daily budget immediately.
What surprised me the most
The sheer geological wonder of the Natura Cave Spa blew me away. You are not sitting in a dark, fake rock room; you are literally floating on a subterranean lake inside a 500,000-year-old cave.
I was also shocked by how much money you can save during Bermuda Spa Month. Every February, top-tier luxury resorts slash their prices, offering up to 50 percent off select signature treatments (often bringing the price down to around $100 to $120). If you are visiting in the winter, this promotion is an absolute steal.
Common mistakes
Do not wait until you arrive to book your treatment. When large cruise ships are docked at the Royal Naval Dockyard, the best spas in Bermuda book out weeks in advance.
Another massive mistake is assuming you have to stay at a hotel to use its spa. Almost all resort spas welcome outside guests, and many offer day passes for their pools and steam rooms.
Finally, do not underestimate taxi fares. A cab ride from the Dockyard all the way to St. George's will easily cost you over $70 each way.
Practical details
Expect to pay between $150 and $300 for a standard 60-minute massage at a luxury resort. Independent day spas in Hamilton are much more affordable, usually ranging from $90 to $150.
Check your bill before you leave a tip. A 15 to 17 percent gratuity is almost always automatically added to your final spa check.
For transportation, rely on taxis or your rented electric micro-car, like a Twizy or Rugged rental. Do not take the public pink and blue buses to a spa appointment. The bus schedules are too relaxed, and you will likely miss your time slot.
Pro-Tip: If you are driving a Twizy to your appointment, call the spa ahead of time. Ask if they have dedicated charging ports in their parking lot so you can juice up your vehicle while you relax.
The Ultra-Luxury Resort Spas (Tier-1)
Sense Spa at Rodewood Tuckers's Point

Bermuda's top-tier resort spas compete on a global level. These are the absolute best options for a high-end, pampering experience.
The St. Regis Spa (St. George's)
Located at the eastern tip of Bermuda, this is the newest crown jewel of the island. It won Bermuda's Best Resort Spa in 2024 and features stunning outdoor plunge pools. The vibe is highly exclusive, but be prepared for a long ride if you are coming from the west end. You can book directly through the St. Regis Bermuda Resort website.
.
Sisley Spa at The Loren (Tucker's Town)
If you prefer modern, sleek aesthetics over classic island decor, this is your spot.
The Loren at Pink Beach partners with the French botanical brand Sisley for their treatments. The ocean views from the relaxation lounges are unobstructed and spectacular.
Sense Spa at Rosewood Bermuda (Tucker's Point)
This spa drips with classic Bermudian elegance. You will smell the warm, local Bermuda cedar as soon as you walk into the relaxation rooms of Sense Spa located within
Rosewood Bermuda. Their signature treatments often incorporate local ingredients, like a pink sand body scrub.
Driftwood Spa at Hamilton Princess (Hamilton)
If you want convenience without sacrificing luxury, head to the
Pink Palace right in the City of Hamilton. Recently rebranded from Exhale to Driftwood Spa, it overlooks the harbor and offers high-energy fitness classes like barre and yoga alongside their massage services. You can easily walk here if you are shopping on Front Street.
The Most Unique Spa Experience in the World
Natura Spa

You cannot talk about spas in Bermuda without dedicating a section to the
Natura Spa at
Grotto Bay Beach Resort. The treatment cabanas float on pontoons in a crystal-clear, underground lake.
You will hear water dripping from the stalactites above you while you get your massage. The air in the cave is naturally humid and cool, which feels incredible after a hot day on the beach. Just be careful walking down; the stone steps leading into the cave get very slippery.
Boutique and Adults-Only Resort Spas
Sometimes you want a quieter, more intimate environment away from large resort crowds.
Ocean Spa at Cambridge Beaches (Sandys)
While the resort now welcomes guests of all ages, the Ocean Spa and its indoor pool remain strictly adults-only during the day, guaranteeing a peaceful, child-free environment for your treatments.
It is also geographically the closest luxury spa to the cruise port at King's Wharf. If you are on a ship, head over to
Cambridge Beaches... this is your most convenient luxury escape.
La Serena Spa at The Reefs (Southampton)
The Reefs is famous for its dramatic cliffside location on the South Shore. La Serena features floor-to-ceiling windows in the relaxation room, giving you sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. It is a fantastic place to unwind before grabbing a bowl of local fish chowder at
The Reefs Resort's on-site restaurant.
Top Independent and Day Spas (City Center and Local Favorites)
Independent Spas (Location Map)
If you do not need ocean views and just want a high-quality treatment, the City of Hamilton has excellent independent options.
Strands Bermuda
Located on Reid Street, this is a classic, highly reliable day spa. It is a favorite among local business professionals for facials and deep tissue work. (31 Reid Street, Hamilton, Phone: 441-295-0353)
Ani's Nail and Beauty Lounge
If you chipped your polish on the beach and need a quick fix, Ani's on Victoria Street is fantastic. They are fast, clean, and much more affordable than a resort salon. (31 Victoria Street, Hamilton, Phone: +1 441-292-0700)
Siam Thai Spa
Do not expect fluffy robes or ocean waves here. You come to Siam Thai on Reid Street for serious, traditional deep-tissue work. The therapists will stretch you out and fix tight muscles after a long day of traveling. (1st Floor, Williams House, 20 Reid Street, Hamilton, Phone: +1 441-295-3999)
Status Updates: Fairmont Southampton and Elbow Beach
If you have visited Bermuda in the past, you might be looking for two legacy properties. You need to know their current operational status before you try to book.
The Spa at Elbow Beach is permanently closed. The entire property was demolished and acquired by The Loren Group for a massive rebuild slated for 2029.
The famous Willow Stream Spa at the Fairmont Southampton is also currently closed. The resort is undergoing a $550 million renovation and is slated to fully reopen soon.
Alternatives to a Traditional Spa Day
If a $200 massage is not in your budget, you can still find serious relaxation on the island.
Consider renting a private luxury cabana at the newly opened Palmetto Beach Club under Fairmont Southampton. You get the VIP service and shade without the spa price tag. Alternatively, check local community boards for sunset yoga sessions right on the sand.
For a completely free escape, pack a towel and head to
Jobson's Cove early in the morning. The towering limestone rocks block the wind, creating a perfectly calm, quiet saltwater pool that feels like a natural spa.
