Greene's Guest House Bermuda

Greene's Guest House is located at the Jennings Bay of Southampton Parish and has a beautiful view of the waters of Great Sound. However the place is a bit isolated and you will need a transport (bus, taxi etc) to get around. There are six rooms and two apartments. It is owned and run by Mrs. Greene who is an excellent host and prepares the sumptuous breakfast herself.
All the double and twin rooms are complete with private bath, air-conditioning and heating, clock radio, TV, telephone, refrigerator, microwave, ironing board with iron. Hot pot for coffee or tea is available on request. There is also wi-fi in the rooms (although it may not always reach or work in all rooms).
Note that the phones in the room can only be used for making calls to the other rooms or to Mrs. Greene. You can not directly make a phone call outside. Which means that if you want to call a taxi, you will need to call Mrs. Greene to help you with that. Rooms are all lined up on one side of the main house and living room and the kitchen is on the other side. This is the kitchen where Mrs. Greene prepares the breakfast which is often made to order.
Greene's Guest House Bermuda
The living room is nicely decorated with a fireplace, library, large screen television, a sitting area for reading or playing board games. Full breakfast is served in the elegantly furnished dining room. In fact the breakfast here is so hearty that you may even skip your lunch.
No meals other than breakfast is served in Greene's. However
Wadson' Home Farm Market is located very nearby and you can get fruits, poultry, sausages and even fresh vegetables there. If you plan to cook, you can use the kitchen as well. There is a pool at the backside of the guesthouse offering nice view of the Great Sound water area.
My overall opinion
It's not a beachfront property. However the location is quiet and isolated with great view of the Great Sound. The nearest beach is at a walking distance. Rooms are large and airy, but showing some signs of aging though. However Mrs. Greene is a great hostess and she will go out of the way to help you whichever way she can. She stays in the property most times and you can reach her by phone from the rooms.
Other than arranging for taxis, she can also help you buying a bus/ferry pass, renting a scooter etc and give you lots of information and advice about the island. Bus stop is close by and very convenient. Overall a great budget stay if you like to stay in a quiet place away from the activities and touristy places.

Greene's Guest Houses is within a easy walking distance to the Southampton Middle Road Bus routes. There are two bus routes (#7 and #8) you can avail (both operating between Dockyard and Hamilton). It takes about 30 minutes by bus to reach Hamilton City from Greene's Guest House. Taxis can be called and rental mopeds are delivered directly at the Greene’s Guest House. Visit
