Vacation Rentals on Marley Beach, Bermuda

Located on a low cliff and overlooking the secluded Marley Beach in Bermuda, there are several options here for vacation rentals. Sand Pebble Studio provides a perfect romantic setting for a couple. It's a small exclusive cottage located between the Horseshoe Bay Beach and the Elbow Beach. And there are two lovely parks surrounding it, the Astwood Park and the virtually undeveloped Southlands Estate. 
With the sound of the rolling waves, awesome views of the south shore and privacy, it is a perfect bliss. The private Marley beach remains secluded most of the times. We hardly saw any one, sometimes just another couple like us strolling on the beach. The water here is crystal clear and perfect for swimming and snorkeling. You can often see parrot fish in the water here.  
Walk into the vast 37 acre Southlands Estate and see beautiful garden pools, quarry garden, and some of the finest plantations including a large canopy formed by a Banyan tree. Sand Pebble was earlier part of Marley Beach Cottages that operated as a small intimate hotel. The entire property was bought out by the current owner and the host. They converted Sand Pebble into this lovely studio for visitors. 
Sand Pebble is a studio apartment measuring some 600 sq. ft. It sleeps two and has a king size bed. They can also arrange for twin beds. One large room is used as both the bedroom and living room. 
Other facilities include a fully-equipped kitchen with fridge, stove and oven, microwave, coffee-maker and toaster, two armchairs, dining table/chairs, flat-screened TV, a garden patio with umbrella, table and chairs, and barbecue. Beach chairs are also provided. The unit is air-conditioned and there is also an internet access. It also has a washing machine. Don't miss out waking up to the beautiful sight of the sunrise over the ocean, from your room with a cup of hot coffee ! Or simply sit outside under the moon in the evenings and listen to the waves break against the rocks. 
Sea Song is a newly refurbished 2-bedroom beachfront cottage great for a family of four (or more). The master bedroom with King size bed has a wonderful view of the beach. The rooms are air-conditioned. There is a fully equipped kitchen, pull-out couch, two separate bathrooms, a patio overlooking the beach, living/dining etc. 
There is another 2-bedroom unit called Sand Dollar which is rented out on a long term basis to Bermuda based tenants. Sand Pebble studio is semi-attached to the home of the owners. The host has been perfect. They are never on your face but are always available with a smile whenever you need them. This cottage can accommodate 2 couples or a family of four to six people. It also has 2 bathrooms.  
There is a super market and liquors Modern Mart down the south shore road and should take about 5 minutes by scooter ride. If you do not like to rent a scooter, try to pickup your grocery on your way to the apartment and stock up the fridge. UPDATE: There is a new Arnold's Supermarket that has come up along the South Road towards east. It's about 15 minute walk. 
The nearest restaurant is the LITT (Lost In The Triangle) that specializes in fresh local seafood which is about 10-minute walk along South Road towards east. The restaurants like Aqua and Palms at the Surf Side Beach Cub are also in a walking distance. There are many other restaurants within 5 minutes taxi ride. There are a number of attractions nearby. The Astwood Cove beach is only few yards to the left as you face the ocean. Gibbs Hill Lighthouse is also close by although not in a walking distance.

The Vacation Rentals are located in Warwick parish on a cliff. It's a short 50 meters walk down a path from South Road to the Cobbs Hill. It overlooks the Marley beach which is only 10 meters away. The bus stop is only a 2-minute walk away at the foot of the drive way. So it is very easy to get around on public transportation.  
It is also just two stops away from the gas station and mini-mart. You can get bus passes from the manager at the property and easily go around the island from here. They have a local telephone here which makes calling taxis or other local establishments, very convenient.

Booking is offered on a weekly basis or on week-end nights. The weekly rate varies depending on the season. During summer, the rates are higher. You will need to book well in advance as it usually gets sold out.
